The CDWG met last fall as it moved towards updating the International Residential Code (IRC), International Building Code (IBC), International Fire Code (IFC), and the International Urban Wildland Interface Code (IWUIC). Finally, the CDWG will also review the current provisions in the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) and ensure that insulated vinyl siding remains a recognized option for consideration as a continuous insulation. The IECC has been moved to a standards process which will also start in 2025.
