The VSI & the Dallas Builders Association teamed up last week in Dallas, Texas during the Sunbelt Builders Show™ to present “Advantages of Polymeric Cladding - From Design and Certification to Resiliency, Installation and Value.”
Co-hosted by VSI’s Vice President Matt Dobson, CAE, VSI’s Director of Workforce Development Rob Balfanz and VSI Consultant and Designer Fernando Pages Ruiz, the free workshop gave Texas builders a strong understanding of the possibilities vinyl siding offers that incorporate traditional neighborhood design and resilient, sustainable, affordable solutions. The workshop also featured valuable information about the latest workforce development trends and opportunities.
During the annual Sunbelt show, the VSI team was excited to visit with many member companies that also attended the event, which included 1,350 attendees – builders representing 36 states and 302 cities. Among the 200+ exhibitors, numerous VSI member companies were represented, including Royal Building Products, Progressive Foam, PlyGem and Alside, among others.
The VSI team also had the chance to foster new educational opportunities with the Home Builders Associations of El Paso, Victoria, Austin and more. In addition, there were discussions about developing a new compelling case study with a Houston builder that uses vinyl siding on his high-end homes.
