BRAVA, DaVinci and EcoStar Excited to Promote Polymeric Roofing Solutions through PEPA Alliance
When the Vinyl Siding Institute (VSI) re-branded to the Polymeric Exterior Products Association (PEPA) in April 2024, the intent was to expand the trade association to represent the wide range of polymeric exterior building products used to build resilient, beautiful home exteriors across North America.
The first phase of this transformation was to open new member category registration in January 2025. It didn’t take long before three new members from the first category – polymeric roofing material manufacturers – joined PEPA.
They are Washington, Iowa-based BRAVA Roof Tiles, DaVinci Roofscapes of Lenexa, Kansas, and Holland, NY-based EcoStar, LLC.
"We are thrilled to be welcoming polymeric roofing manufacturers, and we can’t wait to work with them to advocate for their products and initiatives,” said Kate Offringa, President and CEO of PEPA. “We are all united in our desire to increase awareness and grow this category of PEPA membership."
These three new members are not just any roofing manufacturers. On the contrary, BRAVA, DaVinci and EcoStar are the leading innovators in the synthetic roofing sector, and they share a commitment to advancing resilient, sustainable and high-performance roofing materials.
Like their vinyl siding counterparts, synthetic roofing products are durable, high-performance materials designed to handle harsh climates and offer the same sustainable benefits.
According to Kate, the new roofing members’ initial list of initiatives they want to work on through PEPA includes:
- Building code advocacy
- Sustainability work
- “Life of home affordability” and other messaging around resilience and durability
- Installer training
- Architect education
These initiatives align with PEPA’s pillars and priorities, reinforcing the need and desire for uniting the polymeric exterior products industry into one camp.
As new members, the BRAVA, DaVinci and EcoStar teams are excited to leverage PEPA resources to promote the benefits of synthetic roofing among architects, contractors and policymakers. This includes targeted outreach to home and property owners, educational outreach to tradesmen and women, industry advocacy and sustainability initiatives.
“The energy displayed by our new members during our onboarding meeting was super,” Kate explained. “And we are equally excited to extend our programs and services to other categories while building a more empowered polymeric exteriors industry.”
Look for more updates on our new PEPA members in the coming year.
